Transport System Of Goa
By Air:- Dabolim Airport is situated  in Dabolim, 4 km away from Vasco da Gama city, 23 km away from south Goa of Margao and 30 km away from the capital city Panaji. This airport  operates to all the International and Domestic flights. It has two terminals. One of them dedicated for domestic service to all major cities of Indian state. Goa have not full fledged International airport however Charter International flights and International flights from U.K, Kuwait and Sharjah do land at Goa. Several airlines that operate from Goa include such as Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways etc.

By Railway:- Madgaon Railway Station is the busiest railway station in Goa. This railway station connects with several major cities in Indian states. Several special trains run from Goa to Mumbai such as Madgaon Exp, Kokan Kanya Exp, Jan Shatabdi, Netravati Exp etc. There are two rail lines in Goa. One run by the South Western Railway and other by the Konkan Railway. Vasco da Gama is another railway station in Goa.
By Road:- Goa has four National Highways passing through it. NH-66 runs west coast of India and links Goa to Mumbai in the north and Mangalore to the south. NH-4 A runs across to connects the state capital Panaji. Goa has 224 km of national highways and 232 km of state highway and 815 km of district highway.


Famous Tourist Places:- There are several famous tourist places in Goa such as Baga Beach, Dedhasagar Falls, Agonda Beach, Fort Aguada, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary Shanta Durga Temple, Goa State Museum, Chapora Beach etc.

Baga Beach:- Baga Beach is located at the north end of the contiguous beach stretch that starts from Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute and then to Baga. This beach is well known as Baga Creek. It is one of the longest beach in Goa. A lots of tourists visit this beach.


Dudhsagar Falls:- Dudhsagar is a waterfall located on the Mandovi river in the Indian state of Goa. This water fall is 60 km away from Panaji city, 46 km away from the east of Madgaon and 80 km away from south of Belgaum. This waterfall is one of the highest (1017ft) and widest (100ft) in India. It is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sancturary and Mollen National Park among the Western Ghats. This waterfall is very beautiful, amazing and wonderful for tourists.



Se Cathedral:- It is the catheral of the Latin Rite Roman Catholic Achdiocese of Goa and Daman. It is located at old Goa, India. Se Cathedral 's tower house has a large bell known as the Golden Bell. It is said to be the biggest in Goa and one of the best in the world.

Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary:- Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary is located on western tip of the Island of Chorao, Goa-403102, India. It was established in 1988. This sanctuary is one of the famous tourist places in Goa. This sanctuary is named after Dr. Salim Ali. 
Shri Shantadurga Temple:- Shri Shantadurga Temple is located at the foothill of Kavalem village, Nerul Road, Near Chamundeshwari Petrol Pump, In Ponda Taluka, Goa, India. This temple is 33 km away from Panaji city. This beautiful temple was built in 1738. It was also renovated in 1966. This shrine is one of the famous tourist places in Goa. 

Basilica of Bom Jesus:- Basilica of Bom Jesus is situated at Old Goa, India. This church was built in May, 1605 by the archbishhop. It is known as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This church is one of the famous tourist places in Goa, India. This church is more than 400 years old. It opens daily for public. The architecture of this church is very amazing and wonderful. These art of works are known as ' Muralas'.
